Annual Achievement Awards 2022
On the 17th of September the Chrysalis community joined to together for the Annual Achievement Awards to celebrate our children and young people. The awards event is an afternoon of celebration of all that our children and young people have achieved in the last year. The children and young people of Chrysalis have so much to feel proud of and we love any excuse to remind them of how amazing they are!
This year was Disney themed and we went all out! Everything was Disney themed from the buffet table, to the gifts and the décor! It was a wonderful afternoon with lots of our children and young people dressing up as their favourite Disney characters. Even the staff dressed up for the event with Sebastian the Crab (Fostering Manager Sarah) as compere.
Awards on the day included positive mental health, kindness, bravery, positive transition, independent travel and much more!
Our last awards event was online due to covid restrictions but we certainly made up for it this year with dancing, games, a tattoo stall, face painting and a photo booth! The event was a great success, thank you to everyone that made the day special!
